About Us

Trish is the General Manager for One Doorway. A proud Māori woman who has worked with at-risk and disadvantaged people for over 20 years. Trish started her career in abuse prevention and was the Māori Liaison on the New Zealand National Rape Crisis Board.Trish has worked in the aged care and disability sector for 9 years. This is where she found a passion for supporting NDIS participants with their planning meetings and advocating for them to receive the supports they need to achieve their goals.

Trish brings a wealth of knowledge to the One Doorway team, particularly around her previous experience as a Business Development Manager, developing Hospital Discharge programs and Forensic Care programs.Alongside Trish’s rich understanding of the sector and drive to deliver high quality services to our clients, she carries superior interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Trish is a highly motivating leader and well-loved and respected member of One Doorway’s Head Office staff.

As one of the co-founders of One Doorway, Mebin works within the business in the capacity of Finance Manager. He brings more than 5 years’ experience in a wide range of industries including health care, disability, engineering and finance. Mebin believes that, focus on any business is in delivering the quality services to clients and their families.

With over 10 years experience working with participants through NDIS and Child Protection, Jess is passionate about actively supporting people to achieve their goals and realise their potential. Having worked with One Doorway for over a year, Jess believes her co-workers and their focus on the delivery of quality services makes One Doorway a wonderful place to work.

Hilary is currently working at One Doorway as Practice Advisor and Authorised Program Officer.

Hilary is a registered nurse with many years of experience in disability.  Hilary’s previous workspace has included accommodation manager, team leader of a group of Support Coordinators, Specialist Support Coordination and assisting and matching participants who have specialist disability accommodation in their NDIS plan.

Hilary’s is passionate about working with complex participants and finding forever homes for them.

Michael has been developing and implementing quality and safety management systems for over 5 years, having worked in Aged Care and industrial engineering industries before focusing on disability. He is most passionate about ensuring the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of the people in One Doorway’s care, and is responsible for making sure we meet our obligations to participants and the NDIS.
