About Us
Our Story
One Doorway’s story begins in December 2020 enhancing quality where personal experience ignited a passion to improve quality of life and meet individual outcomes for people living with a disability. One Doorway has grown and expanded to around 20 SIL(Supported Independent Living) houses all over Victoria and is still on the path of growing by partnering with SDA(Specialist Disability Accommodation) providers. One Doorway has also expanded internally from 10 employees to 165 employees within 3 years. We are proud to continuously invest in our employee’s training and development which has proved to enhance the quality of the individualised support delivered to our clients every single day.

As one of the co-founders of One Doorway, Mebin works within the business in the capacity of Finance Manager. He brings more than 5 years’ experience in a wide range of industries including health care, disability, engineering and finance. Mebin believes that, focus on any business is in delivering the quality services to clients and their families.
Jess Mountjoy
Operations Manager
With over 10 years experience working with participants through NDIS and Child Protection, Jess is passionate about actively supporting people to achieve their goals and realise their potential. Having worked with One Doorway for over a year, Jess believes her co-workers and their focus on the delivery of quality services makes One Doorway a wonderful place to work.
Hilary Gillen
Practice Advisor
Hilary is currently working at One Doorway as Practice Advisor and Authorised Program Officer.
Hilary is a registered nurse with many years of experience in disability. Hilary’s previous workspace has included accommodation manager, team leader of a group of Support Coordinators, Specialist Support Coordination and assisting and matching participants who have specialist disability accommodation in their NDIS plan.
Hilary’s is passionate about working with complex participants and finding forever homes for them.
Michael Denman
Quality and Compliance Manager
Michael has been developing and implementing quality and safety management systems for over 5 years, having worked in Aged Care and industrial engineering industries before focusing on disability. He is most passionate about ensuring the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of the people in One Doorway’s care, and is responsible for making sure we meet our obligations to participants and the NDIS.
