Accommodation?
Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) is a temporary housing support for NDIS participants who need a place to live while waiting for their long-term housing solution.
How is Medium Term Accommodation Funded?
MTA is funded for up to 90 days in your NDIS plan under Core Supports when you have a confirmed long-term housing option waiting.
Who can access Medium Term
Accommodation funding?
Eligible NDIS participants can access Medium Term Accommodation for reasons such as:
Waiting for home modifications to be completed.
Leaving hospital or aged care while long-term housing is finalised.
Waiting for an approved SIL or SDA dwelling to become ready.
